xvfb Screenshot Setup

Successfully configured headless screenshot capability using xvfb + Chromium.

1 Installation Steps

1. Installed xvfb: yum install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
2. Verified Chromium availability
3. Installed ImageMagick for image processing

2 Screenshot Method

• Uses virtual framebuffer (no physical display needed)
• Runs Chromium in headless mode
• Captures full webpage as PNG
• Works without Chrome extension

3 Test Results

• Successfully captured Baidu homepage
• File: baidu_final.png (130KB)
• Quality: Full resolution, complete page capture

4 Usage

Can now take screenshots of any website for: - Visual testing and monitoring
